Oliver Gorka is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lab Manager at Universitätsklinikum Freiburg, focusing on Inflammasome biology and immune cell metabolism in the Groß lab. Prior to this, Oliver worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Universitätsspital Basel, where Oliver conducted research on molecular immune regulation and RNA-biology in T cells. With a background in Experimental Medicine, Oliver has a history of studying memory T cell differentiation and function, as well as signaling in primary human B cells and rheumatoid arthritis. Oliver's experience also includes work as a Student Laboratory Assistant at various institutions, where Oliver conducted research on genetic modifications in crops and immunodeficiencies.
