Stephen Sozio

Stephen Sozio is a resident physician in the Department of Radiology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School since July 2022, and a research assistant at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey since October 2013. Stephen has extensive experience in medical research, demonstrating expertise in cancer genome databases and investigating radiation oncology techniques. Previous roles include clinical intern in radiology at Princeton Healthcare System, where Stephen developed foundational imaging skills, and resident physician at Atlantic Health System, specializing in internal medicine preliminary year. Additional experience as an emergency medical technician included responsibilities in emergency response and operational oversight in various healthcare settings. Stephen holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University.
