Rachael McCain

Rachael McCain is a dedicated nursing professional with extensive experience in critical care and various nursing units. Currently serving as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at University Medical Center New Orleans since January 2022, Rachael specializes in trauma ICU. Prior to this role, Rachael worked at Ochsner Health System from March 2018, gaining expertise in Emergency Medicine, Telemetry, Clinical Decision Unit, and Med/Surg, along with skills in IV Therapy, TPN/PPN, and medication administration. Rachael's earlier experience includes positions as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Baton Rouge Rehab Hospital and Tangi Pines Nursing Center. Rachael has an educational background that includes a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University-Alexandria, an Associate of Science in Nursing from Charity School of Nursing, and an Associate of General Studies from Delgado Community College.
