Desi Fuhr

Desi Fuhr has a diverse work experience. Desi currently works as a Project Manager at Alberta Health Services since May 2021. Prior to this, Desi served as the Director of Marketing at Fuhr Estate Winery, where they played a crucial role in establishing the liquor manufacturing business and specialized in small batch spirits and mead. Desi also had multiple roles at the University of Alberta, including Team Lead for Clinical Trials Project and Laboratory, Sessional Course & Laboratory Instructor, and Research Coordinator. Their tenure at the University spanned from 2008 to 2016.

Desi Fuhr completed a Master of Science in Biomechanics and Athlete Health at the University of Alberta from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, Desi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the same university, from 2004 to 2008. Desi also holds various certifications including a Certificate in Project Management from NAIT, a CPR - Level C & AED certification from Heart and Stroke, a Certificate in Project Leadership from NAIT, a CSEP-Certified Exercise Physiologist certification from CSEP SCPE, an AD-Instruments - Data Acquisition certification from ADInstruments, and a Combined Phlebotomy/I.V. Course certification from NAIT.
