Mahek Seth

Mahek Seth has a diverse work experience, starting in 2019 as a Startup Manager at TYE Boston, where they received formal training and represented TiE Lucknow in a global competition. They then worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta in 2021, followed by a role as a Senior Peer Advisor at the University of Alberta. In 2022, they joined Deloitte as a Financial Analyst in Valuations, where they researched and analyzed market data and performed valuation analysis for multimillion-dollar companies. They also worked as a Tax Analyst in International Tax Advisory at Deloitte, providing specialized tax advice and preparing tax calculation models. In 2023, Mahek joined the University of Alberta as a Lead Financial Analyst in the Innovation Fund. They were also selected as a Finalist in the CEOx1Day Program at Odgers Berndtson, where they shadowed the CEO of Parkland Corporation for a mentorship day.

Mahek Seth attended Loreto Convent Intermediate College in Lucknow from 2016 to 2019, where they completed their High School education with a focus on Business/Commerce. In 2019, they enrolled at the University of Alberta, Augustana Campus for one year to pursue a Post-Secondary program in Business/Managerial Economics. Following that, Mahek joined the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Finance and Cooperative Education, expected to be completed in 2024.

In terms of additional certifications, Mahek obtained a certification in Financial Statement and Discounted Cash Flow Modelling from Wall Street Prep in 2021. They also completed the Goldman Sachs Excel Skills for Business Virtual Experience through Forage, as well as the Bloomberg Market Concepts course, both obtained in 2023.
