Dr. Barney Craggs FCIIS is a prominent figure in the field of cyber security, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Cyber Security Lecturer at the University of Bristol since February 2020. With prior experience as a Senior Research Associate at the Bristol Cyber Security Group, Dr. Craggs focuses on identifying and mitigating cyber security risks using human factors and ergonomics methodologies, contributing to the development of security ergonomics. Previous roles include serving as a Data, Product, and Innovation Thinker at Exponere and as a Senior Research Associate in the Human Factors of Security at Security Lancaster Research Group. Dr. Craggs has a PhD from Lancaster University, where research concentrated on information bias and trust in Bitcoin speculation, alongside a Master of Research in Digital Innovation and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from Bournemouth University.
