Linlin Zhao is currently an Associate Professor with tenure at the University of California, Riverside, having joined in August 2019 after serving as an Assistant Professor. Prior to this, Linlin Zhao was an Assistant Professor at Central Michigan University from August 2013 to July 2019 and worked as a Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from November 2010 to May 2013 under the guidance of Professor Fred P. Linlin Zhao's research experience began as a Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut from September 2005 to October 2010, collaborating with Professor James F, and started in the field as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the State Key Laboratory of Electroanalytical Chemistry in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry in 2004. Linlin Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Bioanalytical Chemistry from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. in Chemistry from Jilin University. Research interests include the optical and electrochemical properties of azocompound molecularly bridged gold and silver nanoparticles.
