Chelsea Bahney

Chelsea Bahney serves as the Program Director for the Center for Regenerative Sports Medicine at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute since September 2018 and holds the position of Board Treasurer for the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society, Inc. since December 2019. Additionally, Chelsea is an Associate Adjunct Professor at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on developing translational technologies for musculoskeletal regeneration. Previous leadership roles include Chair of the International Section of Fracture Healing and the Advocacy Committee for the Orthopaedic Research Society, where efforts were centered on promoting musculoskeletal research and education. Chelsea's academic credentials include a PhD in Cell & Developmental Biology from Oregon Health & Science University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Chelsea's research integrates engineering and biology to advance understanding and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
