Patrick A. Limbach is a distinguished bioanalytical chemist currently serving as the Vice President for Research and Professor at the University of Cincinnati since 2001. Limbach, an Ohio Eminent Scholar, specializes in mass spectrometry, modified ribonucleic acids, ribonucleoprotein complexes, and protein translation. Previously, Limbach held the position of Interim CEO at the UCRI - University of Cincinnati Research Institute from April 2016 to July 2017 and served as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University from 1995 to 2001. Limbach earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Chemical Physics from Centre College.
