Stuart Brocklehurst

Stuart Brocklehurst currently serves as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Business Engagement and Innovation at the University of Exeter, focusing on enhancing the university's impact through collaboration beyond academia and leading climate engagement initiatives through Green Futures. Previously, Stuart was the Chief Executive of Applegate Marketplace Ltd, a technology company recognized for its innovative procurement solutions and significant contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Stuart has held various leadership roles, including Chair of Octopus Apollo VCT 2 plc and Group Communications Director at Amadeus IT Group SA, among others. With a solid foundation in finance, digital commerce, and strategy, Stuart's career also includes significant contributions at Visa International CEMEA and Barclays. Academic credentials include an MA in Theology from the University of Oxford and participation in the Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
