Anne Lauscher

Anne Lauscher is an Associate Professor of Data Science at Universität Hamburg since October 2022, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Bocconi University focusing on demographic factors in language processing systems to enhance algorithmic performance and fairness. Anne served as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Mannheim and held various roles such as Independent Research Contractor at the Allen Institute for AI, External Consultant at Grammarly, and Lecturer at Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg. Additionally, Anne contributed to the Linked Open Citation Database project at Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart and completed significant projects during a tenure at SAP SE, focusing on predictive maintenance and simulation environments. Anne holds a PhD in Natural Language Processing from the University of Mannheim and has degrees in Business Informatics and Business Information Technology.
