Dean, Libraries & Learning at University of La Verne

Vinaya Tripuraneni received their MLS from UCLA and their BA in English from UC Berkeley. Vinaya has worked in libraries for over 20 years, including positions at the University of Southern California and the Los Angeles Public Library. Vinaya is currently the Dean of Libraries & Learning at the University of La Verne, where they have served since 2007.

Vinaya Tripuraneni holds an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from the University of La Verne, an MS in Library Science from Drexel University, a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Madras, and a BA in English Literature from Stella Maris College. Vinaya also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya.

They work with Paul Alvarez - Professor, Kinesiology & Clinical Coordinator, Athletic Training Program, Shannon Mathews - Dean, College of Arts & Sciences, and Kristan Venegas - Associate Dean, Education Transformation & Faculty Affairs and T5 LVE Financial Literacy Lead. Vinaya Tripuraneni reports to Kerop Janoyan, Provost & VP of Academic Affairs.
