Dr. Marco Barker

Dr. Marco Barker currently serves as an Associate Professor of Practice in Educational Administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, focusing on academic and inclusive excellence through teaching, curriculum development, and supporting doctoral students. With a strong background in diversity, equity, and inclusion, Dr. Barker has held leadership roles, including Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Inclusion and Senior Advisor to the Office of the Chancellor, providing strategic guidance and oversight of organizational initiatives. Dr. Barker is the founder of Barker Diversity Consulting, offering expertise in diversity and inclusion programs, and has previously held significant positions at Westminster College, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Louisiana State University. Dr. Barker holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Research from Louisiana State University, an MBA from Webster University, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
