Stefan Lovgren

Stefan Lovgren has had a diverse and extensive work experience. stefan currently holds the role of Media Director and Research Scientist at the University of Nevada, Reno, which they started in 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Lovgren Productions as a Writer, Filmmaker, and Producer since 2010. stefan has also worked as a Book Author for various publishers starting in 2012.

From 2002 to 2011, Stefan worked at the National Geographic Society as a Writer and Producer, contributing to National Geographic News and producing video stories. stefan also directed a documentary acquired by the Discovery Channel.

At the start of their career, Stefan served as the Africa correspondent for US News & World Report from 1997 to 2002, covering various news events and conflicts across the African continent.

From 1995 to 1997, Stefan Lovgren attended Columbia University, where they obtained a Master of International Affairs. During their studies, their field of study included International Affairs, Journalism, and African Studies.
