Andressa Thorne

Andressa Thorne has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Andressa started their career at VMware in 2005, where they served as an Executive Assistant to the Finance C-Suite and Department Project Assistant for Company IPO Projects. Andressa worked there until 2009. Following that, they joined SGC Financial & Insurance Services as a Project Coordinator in the Finance department from 2009 to 2012. At the same time, they also worked as a Project Coordinator and specialized RAD Ballet Teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2013, Andressa became an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and Project Coordinator at Soha Systems, Inc. until 2016 when the company was acquired by Akamai Technologies. Andressa then joined Couchbase as an Executive Assistant to the SVP and Department Project Coordinator from 2016 to 2019. In 2020, Andressa started working at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they held two roles: Special Project Coordinator in Oncology-Hematology from 2020 to 2022, and Lead Project Coordinator from 2022 to the present. Finally, Andressa is currently employed at Nutanix as a Service Delivery Coordinator in the Flex Desk - EMEA division, starting in 2023.

Andressa Thorne has a diverse education history. Andressa earned a Certificate in Event Planning from San Francisco State University in 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physiology, General from Universidade Federal de Goiás from 1988 to 1992. Andressa also holds an Associate of Arts degree in English from Skyline College, which they completed between 1993 and 1997. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate in 2021 and a North Carolina Notary Public certification in 2018.
