Michael Hannon

Michael Hannon is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Nottingham since January 2019 and has held the position of Assistant Professor. In addition, Michael serves as the Honorary Director of The Aristotelian Society since July 2021. Prior to current roles, Michael was the Deputy Director of the Institute of Philosophy at the University of London from August 2017 to January 2019, where the focus was on promoting high-quality philosophical research. Michael also served as a Bader Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen's University from September 2016 to August 2017 and worked as a Project Manager at Fordham University from July 2013 to June 2016. Educationally, Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminology from York University.
