Mélanie Brunet is an accomplished librarian and educator with extensive experience in open education and research services. Currently serving as the Open Education Librarian (Interim) and Copyright Services Librarian at the University of Ottawa since June 2016, Mélanie has also contributed as a Francophone Subject Matter Expert for eCampusOntario. Prior roles include Open Education Leadership Fellow at SPARC and Research Librarian at the International Development Research Centre. Mélanie's educational background includes a Master of Education from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Information from the University of Toronto, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Canadian History. Additionally, Mélanie has held teaching positions as an Assistant Professor and Sessional Instructor at various universities.
