Pranesh Chakraborty

Pranesh Chakraborty serves as the Chair of Pediatrics and Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa since 2013. Additionally, Pranesh has held the position of Chief of Pediatrics at CHEO since January 2007, along with roles as Medical Director for both Newborn Screening Ontario and BORN Ontario. Educationally, Pranesh earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto - New College, followed by a Doctor of Medicine from McMaster University. Further training includes FRCPC in Medical Biochemistry and Pediatrics from Western University and FCCMG in Biochemical Genetics from the University of Toronto.
