Hiten Patel

Hiten Patel has a wide range of work experience in various organizations. Hiten is currently serving as the Head of Product Management - Data and Analytics at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System since 2024. Prior to that, they were a Distinguished Fellow at Avasant from 2023. From 2022, they worked as the Owner of HKMG Advisory LLC. In 2018, they held multiple roles at Rush University Medical Center, including Chief Product Officer, Acting Chief Information Officer, and Chief Technology and Innovation Officer. Hiten also worked as Managing Director - Platform Strategy - Optum Analytics at UnitedHealth Group in 2017. Before that, they held various managing director positions at The Advisory Board Company from 2005 to 2018. Hiten was an Associate at Dean and Company from 2003 to 2004, and a Graduate Student at Harvard Medical School from 1998 to 2003. Hiten also worked as a Research Manager at MEDACorp in 2002.

Hiten Patel completed their education at various institutions. Hiten obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1998. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at both Harvard University and Harvard Medical School from 1998 to 2003.
