Gayan Kanchana

Gayan Kanchana is an experienced Senior Radiographer at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since March 2019, specializing as a cardiac cath lab radiographer and interventional radiographer. With a diverse background in radiography, Gayan has worked at Teaching Hospital Kurunegala since September 2010, focusing on general radiography, CT, MRI, mammography, dental radiography, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine. Previous roles include a cardiac cath lab radiographer at The Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC from August 2013 to March 2019 and involvement in the radiology department at a care hospital in Akurana. Gayan's academic foundation includes a BSc in Radiography from the University of Peradeniya, obtained from 2009 to 2013, preceded by education at Rahula College Matara from 1998 to 2007.
