Lisa Nunn serves as the Director of the Center for Educational Excellence at the University of San Diego since September 2009, focusing on faculty development and fostering an inclusive campus community. Nunn holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from UC San Diego, where studies spanned from 2002 to 2009, and also earned a B.A. in English Language and Literature and Theater from Whittier College between 1993 and 1997, with an additional Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Theater. Prior to the University of San Diego, Nunn worked as an English Language Teacher at ICAE from 1999 to 2002 and has held various academic positions in Sociology, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor.
