University of Strathclyde
John Parkinson is a Principal Research Fellow at the University of Strathclyde, where responsibilities include delivering applied NMR spectroscopy through teaching and research. Promoted from Senior Research Fellow, John oversees the Strathclyde NMR Facility, managing operations and budget while also engaging in undergraduate and postgraduate education. Prior to this, John served as a Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on NMR under Ian Sadler and Peter Sadler, and conducted postdoctoral research on NMR studies of DNA-ligand complexes at the University of Manchester. John holds a PhD in NMR, Chemistry, and Molecular Biology from the University of Leeds.
