Seonaidh McDonald

Seonaidh McDonald currently serves as Principal at UHI Orkney since April 2024 and as a Visiting Professor at the University of Strathclyde, focusing on academic writing within the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at Strathclyde Business School. Prior experience includes a role as Impact & Performance Manager at Innovate UK from September 2020 to May 2024, and significant academic contributions at Robert Gordon University as both Honorary Professor and Professor from March 2003 to August 2021. Seonaidh McDonald holds a Master of Education from The University of Sheffield, a PhD in the management of post-consumer plastic waste recycling in the UK, and a BSc(Hons) in Management Science from the University of Stirling, where studies extended from 1987 to 1996. Additionally, Seonaidh McDonald has completed a program titled Remarkable Leadership by Remarkable Women.
