Melanie Bryant

Melanie Bryant is a Professor of Management and Social Scientist at the University of Tasmania, where responsibilities include heading the International School and conducting research on social and organisational change within Australian agricultural contexts. Melanie's current projects focus on Australian agricultural biosecurity and the transformation of onshore aquaculture industries. Previous roles include serving as the Head of School (Management & Marketing) at UTAS InVent, Director and Immediate Past-President of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management, and Associate Professor at Swinburne University of Technology. Melanie has extensive experience in research professional development and has a strong background in organisational change, employee responses to change, and qualitative research methodologies. Melanie holds a PhD in Organisation Studies and a Bachelor of Business with Honours from Monash University, along with a qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
