Kathleen Manning is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as Professor Emerita at the University of Vermont since 2014, and having held various positions from Assistant Professor to Full Professor since 1989. Manning has also contributed as a Visiting Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018, and as a Fulbright Scholar at University College Cork, where research focused on resilience in higher education. Additionally, Manning served as Executive Editor for the NASPA Journal of Student Affairs Research and Practice from 2009 to 2012, and has taught various courses during faculty positions aboard Semester At Sea. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University Bloomington and multiple degrees in Student Counseling and Personnel Services from the University at Albany, as well as a B.A. in Biology from Marist University.
