Dr. Jennifer McHenry is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Victoria since September 2022, previously completing a PhD in Geography at Florida State University from 2017 to 2022, along with roles as a Research Technician and Lab Manager. Prior experience includes serving as a Fisheries Ecologist at NOAA NEFSC Coastal Ecology Branch, focusing on marine ecosystem dynamics and conservation tools, and as a Benthic Ecology Specialist with the Maine Coastal Program. Dr. McHenry has also coordinated projects for the Maine Green Crab Taskforce and conducted surveys as part of various environmental assessment initiatives. Academic qualifications include dual Master's degrees in Marine Biology and Marine Policy from the University of Maine, and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from the same institution, supplemented by a semester abroad in Marine Biology at James Cook University.
