Cynthia Dold

Interim President, UW Medicine Hospitals & Clinics at University of Washington Medical Center

Cynthia Dold has been working in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. Cynthia started their career as a project manager at Kaiser Permanente in 2002. In 2004, they transitioned to Public Health Seattle and King County where they served as a Program Manager for nine years. In this role, Cynthia was responsible for developing a coordinated system for response among disparate healthcare providers. Cynthia also served as the primary liaison with state associations, federal, state and local government agencies, and external healthcare organizations in King County. In 2013, Cynthia became the AVP for Clinical Operations at University of Washington Medical Center where they are responsible for overseeing all clinical operations.

Cynthia Dold has a MPP/MPH from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of California, Los Angeles. Cynthia is currently working as a public policy analyst.

Cynthia Dold reports to Lisa Brandenburg, President, UW Medicine Hospitals & Clinics. They are on a team with Sommer Kleweno Walley - CEO, Harborview Medical Center, Cindy Hecker - CEO, University of Washington Medical Center, and Jeannine Grinnell - Interim CEO, Valley Medical Center.
