Amber Field has extensive experience in software development, project management, and agile methodologies, with a career spanning over 18 years in technology and education. Currently serving as a Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Amber developed the inaugural CS Capstone course centered around agile software development techniques. Previously, Amber held multiple leadership roles at Singlewire Software, including Vice President of Software Development, and Director of Software Development, where significant contributions were made to product strategy and agile transformation. As a co-founder of O2 Agility, consulting on team development practices, and in past roles at organizations such as Capital One, Opower, and National Geographic Society, Amber demonstrated expertise in innovative product management, organizational change, and fostering high-performing teams. Educationally, Amber holds a BS in Computer Science and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
