Angela Ryan

Angela Ryan has a diverse range of work experience. Angela started their career as an Investment Analyst at Mercer in 1998 and worked there until 2001. Angela then joined Walgreens as a Reporting Analyst from 2001 to 2002. After that, they transitioned to Saks Fifth Avenue where they held the role of Risk Analyst/Manager from 2002 to 2006. Angela then joined The Bon Ton Stores Inc. in 2006 as the Director of Risk Management, where they had overall responsibility for an insurance and loss control program. Angela held this position until 2018. In 2016, they also became a President-Board Member of the RIMS-Wisconsin Chapter. Finally, in 2018, Angela joined the University of Wisconsin System as the Director of Risk Management.

Angela Ryan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. In 2015, they enrolled at The Institutes to pursue an Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and is currently in progress for completing the degree.
