Robert Ahrens

Robert Ahrens has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Robert is currently working as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Team Leader at Univest since November 2020. Prior to this, Robert worked at Santander Bank, N.A. for nine years, where they held various roles including Market Director and Senior Vice President. During this time, they were responsible for managing a team and developing strategies for Relationship Managers in the Greater Philadelphia market. Robert also played a key role in sales strategy development and client engagement. Before joining Santander Bank, Robert worked at Fulton Financial Corporation as a Vice President, where they specialized in restructuring and liquidation of distressed commercial credits and managed a real estate owned (REO) portfolio. Robert started their banking career at Fulton Bank as a Vice President, where they managed commercial loan portfolios and solicited new clients in the small to middle market businesses.

Robert Ahrens completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Bucknell University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance, General from Heidelberg University, which they completed in the period 2001-2002.
