The Role 

We are seeking an exceptional Product Manager to oversee grow and oversee our Privacy product suite. The ideal candidate has experience specialized in the healthcare industry, specifically the challenges that healthcare systems face as it relates to data privacy, standardization, mapping and governance strategies. The candidate should also have a firm grasp of technology platforms and be able to pivot quickly. The Product Manager is in charge of the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of the product line and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the product(s), ensuring efficient delivery and that it meets customer expectations. This role focuses on the entire lifecycle of the product, including working with the Director of Product Marketing to evolve the positioning narrative, supporting the sales team (or taking a very active role) on pitch calls, product development with our technical engineers, and interfacing directly with clients during and after implementation

What You’ll Do:

 Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Refine the product vision and strategy
  • Create a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market needs
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive vision and effective implementation

Market and Competitive Analysis:

  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to ensure the product meets market demands

 Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

  • Coordinate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support teams to develop and refine products
  • Prioritize product features and manage any backlog to focus on those delivering the most business value
  • Oversee the product development process and ensure adherence to timelines and budget

Go-To-Market Strategy:

  • Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to develop and execute a successful go-to-market narrative
  • Engage with Tealium and Unlock’s Product Marketing team on growing the Unlock / Tealium Partnership
  • Participate in Webinars and other thought leadership opportunities

Product Promotion & Engagement:

  • Take an active role in pitch presentations with Sales and Client Service teams
  • Be able to speak to the platform capabilities, technical components (high level) and use cases 
  • Engage with client Marketing, IT and Compliance teams to understand client nuances to develop recommended product strategies in collaboration with Sales
  • Work with technical SME’s to facilitate client demos, IT discussions, etc
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance to develop pricing estimates, SOWs and project plans

Implementation & Project Management:

  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, and resources needed to deliver solutions to customers
  • Lead the project team during the implementation phase, ensuring deliverables are on track and within scope and budget
  • Address and resolve issues that arise during the implementation process

Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase
  • Ensure clear communication and manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Tealium and our partnership

Training, Support & Professional Services:

  • Provide or coordinate training and support to clients on new systems or services
  •  Coordinate with customer support teams to ensure a smooth transition post-implementation
  •  Ensure post-implementation professional service plans are in place and coordinated

Ideal Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in healthcare, marketing, technology, or business-related fields
  • Experience with data privacy solutions such as Tealium, Freshpaint are preferred
  • Experience in Tag Management - Google Tag Manager (GTM), client-side and server-side tagging are preferred
  • Experience in Analytics - Google Analytics, Piwik Pro preferred; other platforms such as Matomo, Mixpanel, Heap and Freshpaint are helpful
  • Familiarity with regulatory challenges in healthcare (HIPAA guidance, milestone regulatory updates, general state law complexities, consent management, etc)
  • Experience in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and/or Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) a plus
  • Experience in MarTech or a similar SaaS environment is preferred
  • Experience in project management and implementation roles
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable with face-to-face interactions and negotiations with clients
  • Ability to encourage growth and product activity among clients
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize requests effectively and efficiently
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and healthcare marketing terminology
  • Comfort working with healthcare professionals, including marketing, service lines, and administration
  • Experience working with enterprise customers is preferred
  • You have a proven track record of achieving targets and goals
  • You have experience managing large, complex projects and/or programs
  • You have experience leading technical conversations and persuading others to take action based on requirements and value provided by solutions
  • You have handled complex customers or situations and can demonstrate resolutions
  • You have worked within a team environment with sales and services peers
