Chris Hamilton, CCP has a diverse work experience in various HR roles. Chris started their career in 2006 as a Store Manager at CVS Pharmacy and later transitioned to become a Professional Recruiter at Adecco. In 2012, Chris joined Thomas & Betts Power Solutions as an HR Specialist. In 2016, they worked at Ernest Health as an Application Support Analyst and later became a PRN - Application Support Analyst. In 2016, they also joined The University of New Mexico as a Senior Compensation Specialist and later became a Human Resources Manager - Compensation and HR Services. Currently, Chris is employed at UNM Medical Group, Inc. where they have held roles such as Human Resource Information System Manager, Interim Executive Director of Human Resources, and currently serves as the Human Resources Director.
Chris Hamilton, CCP obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Resource Management from Western Governors University, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. In 2019, they earned the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification from WorldatWork. Later, in 2023, Chris pursued a Master's degree in Public Health from New Mexico State University, where they completed their studies in 2026. In addition to their academic achievements, Chris also obtained the CompTIA Project certification from CompTIA in October 2015.
