Jana Rashed

Jana Rashed is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social media design, marketing communication, and youth advocacy, currently holding multiple positions including Social Media Designer and Content Writer at Climate Sirens, and Marketing Communication Coordinator at RCOY MENA. As a Fellow at Free Press Unlimited, Jana is involved in producing a documentary focused on youth-led climate mitigation initiatives in Lebanon. Additional roles include Youth Climate Advocate at UNICEF Lebanon, Facilitator at Climate Fresk, and Director of Communications at the Young Arab Feminists Coalition. Previous experience includes media and communication intern at UNRWA, where responsibilities included video editing for a cash-for-work project, and founding the non-profit initiative LEARN. SUSTAIN aimed at promoting environmental sustainability. Jana also serves as a Social Media Ambassador for Anera, supporting grassroots programs for refugees in the region. Education was completed with a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture from Beirut Arab University, 2015-2019.
