Wadih Aboujamous

Wadih AbouJamous has extensive work experience, starting with their role as an IT Network Assistant at Business and Computer University College from September 2002 to June 2005. Wadih then joined UNRWA as an IS Help Desk Assistant from July 2005 to February 2009. Following that, they became a Technical Service Officer from March 2009 to December 2016, where they were responsible for administering network services and telecommunications and collaborating with colleagues to bridge the gap between business and technology. From January 2017 to November 2022, Wadih worked as a Field ICT Infrastructure Officer at UNRWA. Currently, they serve as the Head of the Field Information Management and Technology Office at UNRWA, a position they took up in December 2022.

Wadih AbouJamous completed their education at the Business and Computer University College. From 2000 to 2003, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Communication. Wadih then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2003 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Wadih has also obtained various certifications. Wadih acquired the following certifications from LinkedIn: Change Management for Projects, AWS Essential Training for Architects, Leading Yourself, Project Management Foundations: Communication, Learning Cloud Computing: Networking, and Project Management Foundations. Wadih also holds certifications from Cisco, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Associate SECURITY (CCNAS), Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice (CCNA-Voice), Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching), and CCNA. Moreover, they obtained the ITIL© Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice and the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Windows Server 2008 (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Server Administrator certifications from Microsoft.
