Leonardo Pereira Santos

Leonardo Pereira Santos has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In their most recent role as a Software Engineer at Untether AI, they are currently engaged in software development. Prior to this, they worked at ON Semiconductor as an Embedded Systems Developer, where they developed BLE sample applications, testing libraries, and CMSIS SPI drivers. Leonardo also served as a Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul, teaching subjects related to digital electronics, microprocessor and microcontroller architecture, and embedded software development. At the Instituto de Pesquisas Eldorado, they worked as a Full Design Engineer in the hardware division, contributing to the design and development of networking and storage controllers. Additionally, Leonardo served as a Customer Support Manager at Aligera Equipamentos Digitais LTDA, overseeing customer support requests and collaborating with P&D on software maintenance and upgrades. Leonardo Pereira Santos has a strong educational background with a focus on computer science and engineering. Leonardo obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, completing their studies from 1996 to 2001. Leonardo further pursued their education and acquired a Specialist degree in Computer Science from the same university during the year 2001 to 2002. Leonardo continued their academic journey by obtaining a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, studying from 2012 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Leonardo has also sought out additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Leonardo obtained a certification in TDD & Agile: Power Techniques for Better Embedded Software Development from the Barr Group in November 2019. In December 2018, they completed a certification course in Machine Learning through Coursera. Leonardo also holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the English Language Institute at The University of Michigan, which they obtained in November 1997. Lastly, they achieved a high score of 8.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) conducted by IELTS Official in May 2017.
