Mike Qin

Mike Qin has worked in the software engineering field since 2018. Mike began their career as a Research Intern at Oracle Labs, where they worked on supporting remote persistent memory in NFS. During their time there, they designed and implemented a new kernel bypass mechanism for NFSv4 (Linux) that eliminated the kernel software latency. In 2021, they joined Untether AI as a System Software Engineer.

Mike Qin completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a M.A.Sc in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2014.
