Mariel Sands

Mariel Sands has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Mariel is currently working as the Head of Production at Untold Studios since 2021. Prior to this, Mariel worked at Los York from 2020 to 2021 as the Head of Production, where they led the production team and managed production activities efficiently. Mariel also provided advice on production and delivery decisions, oversaw budgeting, and managed project infrastructure.

Before joining Los York, Mariel worked as an Integrated EP/HOP/Digital EP at Freelance from 2016 to 2020. Mariel was responsible for overseeing integrated production, including digital content creation and project management.

In 2016, Mariel served as the Sr. Director of Content at Jukin Media, where they led global social content and experiential production, driving significant return on investment (ROI). Mariel scaled flawless branded video processes and led creative design and branding teams.

From 2013 to 2015, Mariel worked at Fox Broadcasting Company as the Digital Brand Manager for Unscripted and Scripted Programs. In this role, they oversaw digital content for various shows, conceptualized digital content for programming brands, and produced branded entertainment for national advertising brands.

Mariel also has experience in music and brand partnerships. Mariel worked at NowLive from 2011 to 2012, producing live streaming content for advertising brands, music partners, and movie studios. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Integrated Productions at Myspace from 2009 to 2011, where they oversaw digital and experiential production for branded content.

Earlier in their career, Mariel worked at BBE - Broadband Enterprises, Inc as a Branded Entertainment Account Executive from 2007 to 2009. Mariel produced customized branded entertainment programs and managed digital budgets for global brands.

Mariel also has experience as an Agency Producer/Production Manager at Ogilvy & Mather (2007), Line Producer/Production Manager at Viacom - VH1 & MTV (2003-2006), and held other various roles in the industry.
