Arturo Juarez

Arturo Juarez is an experienced Principal Infrastructure Engineer at Unum, with a career spanning from March 2011 to the present. Juarez leads the zMIS DBMS Team, focusing on the implementation and design of solutions for mainframe databases such as DB2 and IMS, while also managing cloud integration. Previous roles include Solutions Engineer and Sr. Infrastructure Engineer III, where responsibilities included overseeing teams and maintaining highly available environments. Prior to Unum, Juarez worked at Affiliated Computer Services as an Infrastructure Management Consultant and Principal Analyst, managing database systems and communications infrastructure. Early career experience at IBM Global Services involved designing and implementing comprehensive solutions for major IBM clientele in Mexico. Juarez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Politécnico Nacional and has pursued further education through IBM.
