Julius Villanueva

Julius Villanueva has a diverse and extensive work experience in software development. Julius started their career at Intermedia Cloud Communications in 2014 as a Front End Developer, where they developed marketing landing pages and created email templates. Julius then transitioned into a Full Stack Software Developer role, where they rebuilt the video conference application using AngularJS and NodeJS, modernizing the UI and delivering the company's first in-browser, WebRTC-based meeting product. In 2021, Julius became a Scrum Master, leading daily stand-ups, facilitating sprint retrospectives, and introducing sprint reviews to improve team communication and productivity. From 2022 to 2023, they worked at Weedmaps as a Front-End Software Engineer, responsible for building tools for internal users and collaborating with back-end engineers to implement APIs. Currently, Julius is a Senior Frontend Engineer at Upbound.
