Erik Wurster

Erik Wurster currently serves as the Vice President of Environmental Markets and Sustainability at BioLite, focusing on consumer energy products designed for off-grid communities. With extensive experience in carbon finance, Erik holds multiple roles at UpEnergy, including Director and Co-founder, where the organization aims to provide clean energy technologies in developing regions. Previously, Erik was a Board Member at Inyenyeri and Manager of Carbon Finance at E+Co, supporting sustainable energy businesses. Erik's early career includes consulting for the United Nations Development Programme and project management at Energy Saving International. Erik holds a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor's in Environmental Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder.
