Mike Jackson

Mike Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning over 24 years. Mike started their career as a Microsoft Certified Trainer at New Horizons CLC in 1997, where they were responsible for teaching various programming languages and database management. After spending almost a decade in this role, they transitioned to Eagle Technology Management in 2006 as a Solutions Architect. In this position, they designed and implemented technological solutions for clients. In 2016, they joined Sovos as a Product Owner, where they played a key role in managing product development. In 2020, they moved to UFG Insurance as an Application Development Team Lead, overseeing the development of software applications. Most recently, they joined uPerform in 2021 as the Lead Product Owner, leading the product development initiatives.

Mike Jackson attended Iowa State University from 1981 to 1986. During that time, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS) from the Ivy College of Business. Mike also obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance in April 2021 and the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) from Scrum.org in October 2020. Additionally, Mike holds Microsoft certifications such as the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in March 2012, the Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) in September 2005, the Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) in July 2000, and the Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) in August 1998.
