Leo Petrazickis

Leo Petrazickis has a comprehensive work experience spanning over two decades. Leo is currently working at Upgrade, Inc. as the Principal DevOps Engineer, focusing on infrastructure performance. In their previous role at Autonomic, Leo held multiple positions, including Principal Software Engineer, Senior Observability Engineer (O11y), and Senior Site Reliability Engineer. During this time, they contributed to open source projects, developed logging and monitoring systems, and managed Kubernetes clusters. Prior to Autonomic, Leo worked at IBM for 12 years, where they served as a Principal Engineer, Platform Architect/Software Developer, and Developer/Evangelist. In these roles, they managed teams, developed microservices, and performed site reliability engineering. Leo also has experience working at CIBC and AutoTrader.ca as a Web Developer.

Leo Petrazickis obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 2002 to 2008. Leo also has additional certifications, including "Agile Explorer" from IBM in 2019, "Insight2015 - Speaker" from IBM in 2015, "IBM Certified Database Associate - DB2 9 Fundamentals" in 2007, and "IBM Certified Solution Developer - XML and Related Technologies" in 2006.
