Alex Disney

Alex Disney has a strong background in technology and has worked in various roles related to asset management and blockchain technology. They started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at DRW Trading Group in 2008, where they developed front office trading applications and worked on research studies. They then moved on to Cumberland in 2015 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed trading tools and an enterprise-grade cryptocurrency mining operation. In 2018, Alex worked as a Blockchain Engineer at Flexa and also served as the Head of Blockchain Technology & Development and an Advisor at LXDX. In 2019, they joined Uphold Inc. as a Senior Backend Engineer before being promoted to the role of Head of Technology - Asset Management in 2020. They also have experience as an Owner/Ethereum Engineer at Collaborative Storytelling, LLC.

Alex Disney attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
