Alap Shah

Alap Shah is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in project management, digitalization, and system support across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at UPL since April 2015, Alap oversees the Engineering Department and leads initiatives in SAP Business Excellence and digitalization for plant maintenance. Previous roles include Senior Manager and Manager at UPL, where responsibilities encompassed SAP support and project planning. Prior to UPL, Alap held key positions at L&T Technology Services and Bombardier Transportation India Ltd, focusing on procurement, project leadership, and SAP training. Alap began a career in maintenance engineering with roles at Gujarat Organics Ltd and JKBM Limited, after completing a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
