Edwin Yee

Edwin Yee has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the technology industry. Edwin began their career at Oracle Corporation as a Sr. Member of Technical Staff, where they worked from 1993 to 1998. Following this, they joined Ventro as a Release Manager and Sr. Software Engineer from 1998 to 2001. Edwin then moved on to SideStep, Inc. where they served as Sr. Manager of QA, Release and Operations from 2002 to 2008. During their time at SideStep, they were responsible for building and managing the Quality Assurance group, implementing test automation suites, and creating rules for bug management. After SideStep, Edwin worked at Anchor Intelligence as Sr. Manager of QA & Release from 2008 to 2010. Edwin then joined ROBLOX Corporation as QA & Release Team Lead from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Edwin joined Rocket Fuel Inc. as a Sr. DevOps/Software Engineer, focusing on infrastructure. Edwin remained at Rocket Fuel Inc. until 2019, when they joined Uplift Inc. as the Director of DevOps Engineering. In this role, Edwin is responsible for managing continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, monitoring and managing environments, enforcing security policies, and managing user access to AWS accounts/environments. Edwin also oversees the evangelization and adoption of GitHub Actions within the organization.

Edwin Yee received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1993. Additionally, in September 2019, they obtained a Sumo Logic Certification from SUMOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED.
