Tom Botts

Tom Botts is the Chief Commercial Officer at UpLift. Tom has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on customer experience, revenue management, and marketing.

Botts started their career at the Denihan Hospitality Group, where they served as EVP and Chief Customer Officer. In this role, they led a team of 100+ professionals responsible for brand management, marketing, revenue management, sales, and business intelligence. Tom was tasked with re-engineering key functions and driving synergies through creative, fresh thinking while embracing technology.

During their time at Denihan, Botts developed and executed a new strategic direction for customer acquisition, retention and profitability by creating a new guest-centric technology platform. Tom also redesigned Affinia Hotels’ brand positioning as a collection of hotels to more closely align the product with customer expectations and desires, including new logos, color schemes, and guest-facing collateral. In addition, they identified and deployed a new SaaS revenue management platform which replaced manual processes and drove significant ADR gains and high adoption rates with revenue leaders and general managers.

After their time at Denihan, Botts served as an advisor at Rocketmiles from December 2013 to November 2015. During their time there, they helped sell the company to PCLN. Tom then joined Duetto as an advisor in 2016.

In their current role as Chief Commercial Officer at UpLift, Botts is responsible for leading the company’s commercial strategy and operations. Tom is focused on driving growth and scale through customer acquisition, retention, and partnerships.

Tom Botts graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Marketing.
