Abhishek Bhasin, MBA

Abhishek Bhasin, MBA has held a range of roles in the finance and technology industries. In 2013, they were appointed Director and Treasurer of Common Ground Co-operative. In 2016, they joined Equifax as Director of Product Development, Strategy and Innovation, where they were responsible for creating and executing business strategies and product innovations for financial institutions and Fintechs. Abhishek also led the development of Ignite Marketplace Apps and the formation of strategic partnerships with technology startups. In 2020, they became a Strategic Growth Advisor for Blits.AI (Conversation AI) and a Holt Fintech Advisor for Holt Accelerator. Abhishek was also appointed an Investor for TokenFunder in 2017 and a Board Advisor and Investor for Miq in 2021. In 2021, they joined TransUnion as a Product Leader and Uplinq as Head of Product. At Uplinq, they provide lenders with insights on SMBs and empowers them to support underserved small business owners.

Abhishek Bhasin obtained their MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University in 2010, where they studied Finance and Business Sustainability. Abhishek also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Business and the Environment from York University in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication in 2003. Abhishek also obtained a Bachelor of Information Science in Computer Science from Delhi University in 2002. Additionally, Abhishek Bhasin has obtained certifications in Blockchain Indy, Ursa and Aries from The Linux Foundation in 2021, Adaptive Leadership from NovoEd, Agile Certified Product Manager and Product Owner Credential (ACPM) from the Project Management Institute, and Lean Methodology for Social Enterprise from +Acumen.
