Maria Seppala

Maria Seppala has a significant amount of work experience in various roles within the supply chain and procurement field. Maria started their career in 1999 as a Logistics Manager at Nokia Italia SPA. Maria then joined Nokia in 2001, where they held roles such as Purchasing Manager and Director of Materials Management. In 2009, they moved to Nokia Oyj and took on roles such as Director of Electromechanics Sourcing and Director of Display Sourcing. Maria later joined Microsoft in 2014 and held positions including Director of Supply Chain Creation and Senior Director of Materials Management. In 2017, they became the Vice President of Sourcing at UPM Raflatac. Throughout their career, Maria has demonstrated expertise in supplier management, material planning, and operational procurement, and has led large teams in multiple locations.

Maria Seppala obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, which they completed between 1995 and 1998. Following this, they pursued their Master's Degree in International Marketing at the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku from 1992 to 1996.
