Joana Félix China

Joana Félix China is a Medical Informatician at Uppsala Monitoring Centre since May 2022, contributing to pharmacovigilance scientific development and data-driven discovery methods. Previously, Joana worked as a Scientific Researcher at Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública and completed a Public Health residency at ARSLVT from January 2020 to May 2022, involving multiple specialized internships in community medicine and epidemiological research. Earlier medical training includes a General Medical Internship at Centro Hospitalar Lisboa Norte in 2019. Joana holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Lisbon and completed a Data Analytics Bootcamp at Ironhack. Additionally, Joana earned a Certificate in Advanced English from the University of Cambridge.
