Alida P. Velez

Alida P. Velez is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in media relations and branding. Currently serving as Media Relations Manager at UPS Corporate Affairs since March 2008, Velez drives brand messaging through strategic media relations, storytelling, and crisis management. Previously, as Communications Manager for UPS Latin America, Velez protected and enhanced the UPS brand across over 30 countries through public relations, social media, and employee communications. Velez has also held various roles including Marketing Manager and Products and Services Supervisor at UPS, as well as Marketing Services Administrator at Parker Hannifin Corp. Alida P. Velez holds an M.B.A. in International Business from the University of Miami and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Universidad Centroamericana, Managua.
